A/Prof Nabeel Ibrahim Prize

ANZ Hernia requests submissions from Trainees or Young Fellows for the A/Prof Nabeel Ibrahim Memorial Prize for best original work in the area of Hernia Surgery. This prize honours the life of an Australian Giant of the Hernia World, A/Prof Nabeel Ibrahim. Nabeel's contributions to the world of hernia surgery were vast but he is best known for his work with Botox to facilitate abdominal wall reconstruction. This prize is valued at $1000.00 and will be awarded to the best original submission and 5 minute presentation at ANZHernia2025. Second Prize is $500 and third is $200. All submission must be made to admin@anzhernia2025.com.au by midnight , 19 October 2025. All successful candidates must be registered to attend the conference and will be advised of success or failure to progress to presentation at ANZHernia2025.
