Running concurrently with the Anatomy sessions on Friday 31st October 2025, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in a specialised Robotic Skills Hernia Lab at the state-of-the-art IMRA Surgical facility in North Melbourne. Renowned for its innovation and commitment to surgical education, IMRA Surgical provides a cutting-edge environment designed to advance practical skills through immersive, hands-on training. This exclusive workshop will allow participants to work across three leading robotic platforms, offering a rare chance to experience the unique features and capabilities of each system. Delegates will also have access to IMRA's realistic hydrogel hernia models, widely recognised for their high-fidelity tissue simulation and anatomical accuracy — a standout feature in robotic surgical training. The lab will run in two tailored sessions: a morning session designed for those new to robotic surgery, focusing on core techniques and familiarisation with the platforms; and an afternoon session aimed at more experienced users, offering advanced skills training and complex procedural simulation. This is a unique opportunity to elevate your robotic surgical capabilities in a focused, small-group setting with expert guidance. Spaces will be limited due to the hands-on nature of the lab — more details and registration information to follow soon.
